Hello and welcome to today\u2019s video!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m here in a rather unusual place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I mean, you know that I\u2019ve made videos in church, I have made a video in my garden, I made videos in the office, next to the piano and everywhere and today I thought I was going to make a video in the garage where my 1977 Magirus Deutz truck lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reason I\u2019m doing this is because the other day my friend Peter sent me a link to a really interesting YouTube channel by a person called Fil who is analysing audio and showing how post-editing is done and also even how some performances get some live-editing and there was one example of a video with a few people singing somewhere in a garage and it turned out there was a lot of post-editing going on and the acoustics weren\u2019t as good as people thought they would be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, I thought I\u2019m going to make this video here where you can actually hear the acoustics of a real garage without me post-editing anything because I simply don\u2019t have the time to do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, I brought, because it\u2019s a blue truck, I brought two of my blue whistles and I\u2019m going to play a short song for you on one of the whistles. You all know it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Playing \u201eWe shall overcome\u201c on a whistle in D major]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And because the video (by Fil) was about singing in a garage, so\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[I sing: We shall overcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We shall overcome one day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh, deep in my heart<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And one thing: of course with a blue truck I also need my blue travel ukulele. Look at that! It fits perfectly, doesn\u2019t it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, I\u2019m not going to go through my collection of instruments. There is actually only just one more blue instrument in my collection for the time being and I\u2019m going to show this to you in another video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But I just wanted to say: people, whoever you are, please feel loved, feel cherished! The world is colourful, the world is beautiful. We all need to protect each other, we need to be there for each other and don\u2019t forget:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Love is love is love is love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And this is why I\u2019m wearing a rainbow again!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im Folgenden nun die \u00dcbersetzung der Untertitel zu meinem Video aus der LKW-Garage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hallo und willkommen zu meinem heutigen Video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich bin hier an einem eher ungew\u00f6hnlichen Ort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ja, Ihr wisst, dass ich schon Videos in der Kirche gemacht habe, ich habe ein Video in meinem Garten gemacht und im B\u00fcro und neben dem Klavier und \u00fcberall und heute dachte ich mir, ich mache mal ein Video in der Halle wo mein Magirus Deutz LKW von 1977 wohnt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der Grund, warum ich das tue: vor einer Weile schickte mir mein Freund Peter einen Link zu einem sehr interessanten YouTube-Kanal von Fil, der Tonspuren (Audio-Dateien) analysiert und zeigt, wie Post-Editing (Nachbearbeitung) gemacht wird und auch, wie manche Live-Darbietungen bearbeitet werden, w\u00e4hrend sie stattfinden. Es gab ein Beispielvideo, in dem ein paar Leute in einer Tiefgarage gesungen haben und es stellte sich heraus, dass da sehr viel nachbearbeitet wurde und dass die Akustik gar nicht so toll war, wie die Leute dachten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jedenfalls dachte ich, machste mal ein Video, in dem die Akustik einer echten Garage zu h\u00f6ren ist, ganz ohne Nachbearbeitung, weil ich daf\u00fcr schlicht keine Zeit habe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nun, weil es ein blauer LKW ist, habe ich zwei meiner blauen Whistles (Fl\u00f6ten) mitgebracht und spiele jetzt ein kurzes Lied auf einer der Fl\u00f6ten, das Ihr alle kennt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Ich spiele \u201eWe shall overcome\u201c auf einer Fl\u00f6te in D-Dur.]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Und weil es im Video (von Fil) um das Singen in einer Garage ging…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Und noch eine Sache: mit einem blauen LKW brauche ich nat\u00fcrlich auch meine blaue Reise-Ukulele. Schaut Euch das an! Passt perfekt, nicht wahr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich werde jetzt nicht durch meine Instrumentensammlung gehen. Tats\u00e4chlich gibt es im Moment nur ein weiteres blaues Instrument, aber das zeige ich Euch in einem anderen Video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aber ich wollte noch eines sagen: wer auch immer Ihr seid, f\u00fchlt Euch geliebt und wertgesch\u00e4tzt! Die Welt ist bunt und sch\u00f6n und wir sollten uns gegenseitig besch\u00fctzen und f\u00fcr einander da sein. Und vergesst nicht: Liebe ist Liebe ist Liebe ist Liebe. Und deshalb trage ich heute auch wieder etwas Regenbogenfarbiges!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
